Only hiccup with this car is getting caught on Racing Hards in the middle of a downpour. If the conditions are more dynamic, a 2/2/3 3/3/1 etc pit strategy still nets you a win with 60s or more between you and the runner-up. Lemans is generally a 7-lap affair, so if conditions are steady you can go with 1 pit and a 2m+ win. It’s low enough pp at stock that you can push for light and nimble, a top-speed focus for the straights or a bit of both.Ī mix tune will go 4 laps w/o a refueling FM6, or 3 at mostly FM1. If you’re into building/tuning a car for 700pp (rather than just slapping a turbo on a Gr.4 car) may I politely suggest the 2002 Honda NSX. it would have added more variety to farming credits. The best race in the game, if only PD added more such races in Spa, Suzuka, Laguna Seca, etc. It’s a 30 min timed race any way, most of my races end around the 32 min mark, on lap 7. I always play on hard difficulty, what’s the point in making it too easy to win. So I just keep rotating the cars, and it makes things a bit more difficult/fun to farm credits. That’s what I love about this race, no two races are the same. Racing medium and softs, wear out in under 2 laps, and the time benefit is offset by the extra pit stop. I find Racing hard, inters and wets are the best choices for tyres. The weather is completely random on this track, so some races you might need 1 pit stop, some even 3 or more. Some cars will be under 700pp even after maxing them out, don’t bother about that, you will win for sure. Just add medium turbo and you will take the lead easily.
